Last week, I traveled up to Manchester to work as an exhibition magician at IHR Live 2025.
I was booked by Human Magic to work on their stand. They’d recently changed their name from “ph Creative” and hiring a magician was the ideal idea for the new brand name!
The event was at the Victoria Warehouse in Salford, right next to Old Trafford. Over 1,000 HR and Recruitment professionals came along for a day of talks, workshops and meeting potential suppliers.
I came up with a couple of tricks to help promote Human Magic. I had some branded playing cards printed with their contact details on the back. After I’d stopped some passers-by and wowed them with some magic tricks, they got to take away a card as a keepsake.
I also used a magic way of “printing” business cards using my phone. Take a look:
The day was a big success, with the team speaking to lots of potential prospects, and loads of people stopping by to enjoy the magic.
