As a corporate event magician, there’s no better compliment than when a client rebooks me again. So, it was lovely to be back at the PayTech Awards last week for the 4th year in a row.
The annual summer event brings together companies from the payment technology industries for an afternoon of networking, awards and entertainment. This was the second year that it was held at the gorgeous Honourable Artillery Company in the City of London. It started with drinks on the lawn accompanied by a pianist, a roaming caricature artist and close-up magic from yours truly.
We were in the peak of the heatwave, so I braved the heat in my linen jacket and trousers, and was very glad the main venue was air-conditioned!
The awards were hosted by the brilliant Aurie Styla who opened with an hilarious comedy set before moving on to the main awards. Then a short break, with more magic at th stables from me before the final awards.
The afternoon closed with more drinks on the lawn with music and even more magic from me.
