What kind of events can I hire a magician for?

People hire me as a magician for all kinds of events – birthday parties, anniversaries, private dinners and corporate events. I also work as a Trade Show Magician, helping companies to get more footfall to their stand.

Since 2020, I’ve also performed as a Virtual Magician on every continent apart from Antarctica!

I don’t do kids’ parties though I’m afraid, although I might be able to recommend somebody for you!

I want to hire a magician - why should I hire you?

I’ve got well over 10 years’ experience performing at events all over the UK and Europe. I’m trusted by big brands like Google, Barclaycard, Deloitte, PwC, Intel and Pinterest to perform at their events.

I’m always happy to have a chat by phone or over Zoom if you want to get to know me a before you hire me!

How long will you perform at my event for?

That depends very much on the type of event, how many guests and the kind of performance I’m doing. As a rough guide, I can entertain around 100 people over a couple of hours with walk-around magic. My shows are usually between 20 and 45 minutes long.

If you're booking me as a table magician, I can usually entertain up to 10 tables during a typical 3 course meal.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have Public Liability Insurance to work as a magician for up to £10,000,000

How much does it cost to hire a magician?

My fees vary depending on the type of event and what kind of performance I’ll be doing. As a very rough guide, my fees tend to be in the range of £600-£1,500, but get in touch for an exact quote.

How do you accept payment?

You can pay me by bank transfer, credit/debit card or Paypal

  We booked Darren Delaney for our Staff Summer Social in Oxford and he was an absolute triumph — hands down one of the best entertainment decisions we've made for a company event. He spent a full 2 hours working the room with close-up, walk-around magic, running through an incredible variety of tricks involving playing cards, £2 coins, and rope, and every single one left people utterly gobsmacked. Nobody could figure out how he was doing it — one colleague summed it up perfectly, calling him "annoyingly good"! The whole team is still talking about it. On top of being a phenomenal performer, Darren was an absolute pleasure to deal with — punctual, professional, and seamless from start to finish.
