I had the pleasure of visiting Sky’s Headquarters in West London this week to perform close-up magic at an end of summer party.
It’s a huge complex in Osterley, with lots of buildings for different parts of Sky, separated by tree lined pavements. A bit like a little town of its own!
I was booked as a corporate magician for an event celebrating a successful summer for a bunch of software engineers and project managers. It was a fun crowd – I find that programmers and engineers often want to try to figure out how the tricks work, and enjoy it when they can’t!
Sadly, the only photo I took was of the toilets. I couldn’t resist.
Luckily, one of the tables filmed part of my set – you can watch it here
I also received a lovely review from the team at Sky.
Darren was a fantastic addition to the evening. He effortlessly mingled with our guests and kept everyone entertained with his incredible magic tricks. Our guests were really impressed, and we received so many compliments on how much fun they had because of him.
It was a really nice group and a fun event to work at. Sadly, it will probably be the last “summer” event for 2024 as we move into colder months.
On that note, if you’re planning a festive party for your team and want a Christmas party magician to make it fun and memorable, get in touch soon as December dates are limited.
