Where to watch live magic in London

When I’m performing as a magician at private events, people often ask me where they can watch live magic in London.

Aside from one-off and touring shows, there are a number of regular magic shows in London. I’ve collated a few of them here. If you want to see when I’m performing, check out the public shows page on this site.

Mid-Week Magic Mix at The Illusioneer

The Illusioneer is a lovely little 20 seat theatre in Herne Hill (10 minutes by train from Victoria). It’s available throughout the week for private shows and parties, but on the first Wednesday of every month hosts “Mid-Week Magic Mix”. I perform there regularly along with a bunch of other top-class magicians.

For info and tickets, visit the Illusioneer website

Conjuring at The Court

Billed as London’s longest running magic show, Conjuring at The Court always has some great magicians in its line-up (including yours truly on April 27th). It’s based at The Drayton Court Hotel in West Ealing.

The Magic Circle

London’s premier secret society of magicians, The Magic Circle also hosts shows and events for the general public. Be amazed by members of The Magic Circle performing close-up and stage magic at the lovely venue in Euston. Details at The Magic Circle Website

Magician’s Showcase

A night for magicians to try out new material in Finchley Road, North London. The Magician’s Showcase is hosted by Darren McQuade and attracts some fantastic magicians and mindreaders (again, you can see me testing out new stuff here from time to time!). Last Friday of the month, tickets at The London Improv Theatre website.

West End Magic

Right in the heart of the West End at Leicester Square Theatre, this show features top awarding winning acts in its monthly show. Suitable for all of the family, tickets and info here.
