November’s traditionally a quieter month for me. The season of summer parties and weddings is over and there’s usually a short lull before the madness of Christmas. This year’s proved to be pretty busy though, and I’ve been planning an exciting new show for the New Year with a team of magicians.
Corporate Entertainment

I helped several companies to schmooze their clients in November by performing magic at drinks and canapé events.
I’d like to thank White and Case for inviting me back to their press night for the second year, as well as The Times who were celebrating 3 years of “the Brief” and ATFX who had me along for a product launch night.
I also had the pleasure helping to host the night for Arbuthnot Latham’s Employee Recognition Awards which was great fun. I’ll be back there in December for their client Christmas Party too!
Promotional Magic

HEMA contacted me a while ago to ask if I could help with their new store opening. Their theme this year is “A Magical Christmas” so I fitted in well!
It was tremendous fun surprising customers with magic while they shopped in the new store. I managed to incorporate some HEMA branded props into my performances, helping the client to promote their brand.
On a related note, if you’re planning a stand at an exhibition or Trade Show soon, I can to help promote your brand message and get more leads – exhibition magic is a great way to do this.
The Bunco Show
Finally, I’m excited to announce a new public show which I’m part of from January onwards, alongside some fellow magicians. We’ve got a wonderful evening’s entertainment planned, where you can pit your wits and gamble for fun with fake casino chips against a range of games and scams.
The operators will all be skilled magicians of course, so your chances of winning are slim, but it promises to be a great night out and a lot of fun. It’s at the beautiful Belair House in West Dulwich starting from 16th January. You can find out more and book tickets over at The Illusioneer website. Take a look at the promo video we shot earlier this year for a taste of what to expect.
That’s it for this month. I’m off to get a good night’s sleep before the first night of many as a Christmas Party magician starting tomorrow!
