Yesterday, I was booked to perform close-up magic for Costa Coffee as part of their European Forum.
There were around 70 attendees at the dinner from all over Europe. One thing I love about working as a corporate event magician in London is the wide variety of nationalaties I get to meet. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of entertaining staff from the UK, Spain, Poland, Czechia, Malta, Belgium, Austria and Bulgaria!
The event was held at Sarastro Restaurant in Covent Garden. It was my first time here, and it really is a wonderful, unique venue. Billed as “The show after the show” it is decked out in a wide range of theatrical, art and other random paraphernalia.

As well as having me along to perform magic, the restaurant provided musical entertainment in the form of a string quartet and some opera singers. It really was a brilliant night.
Here’s a quick clip of me doing some card tricks during the pre-dinner drinks. I love how many times the person filming says “Oh my god!” I think she enjoyed it….
