Last week I was back at Searcy’s at The Gherkin for another corporate event. This time a team get-together for Polaris Software.
I’ve worked here before, but this was the first time in daylight. The views really are stunning. You can see 360 degrees across London, and we were very lucky to have a clear day.
Searcy’s is spread across 4 floors, with event spaces of varying sizes. This event was right at the top, so we were inside the iconic domed glass roof of The Gherkin building.
I was working alongside Luisa Calvo, a very talented caricaturist. I’d recommend her if you’re looking for somebody for yoru next event.
It was a really fun afternoon performing magic for a lovely team of people.

We booked Darren for a first-time all-company event. The brief was quite tricky given it was c100 people who had never been in the same room together but he was a genius. He got everyone talking, made them laugh and was exactly what we wanted. The variety of magic he brought to the event was brilliant. He made sure to bring in people from other groups and he did the rounds multiple times to make sure he got to as many people as possible. A true magician. Thank you Darren!
