One of the things I love about working as a corporate event magician is when somebody sees me performing at an event and decides I’d be perfect for another event they are planning.
That happened this week. I met some of the team from B4B payments at the Paytech Awards earlier in the year. They loved what I did and so invited me to do magic at their client forum this week.
It was held at the Chartered Accountant’s Hall, a gorgeous historic venue in the City of London. Around 80 people, a mix of B4B’s team and their clients go together for some presentations as well as drinks and networking.
I was there to keep the evening fun. I performed a short set for the whole group and then mingled with everybody during networking drinks and did some close-up magic.
Magic is brilliant for getting conversations going at events like this. It also adds a bit of fun to the evening, especially important when the subject matter’s a bit dry!
